Visit the animals on this National Trust farm, meet local food producers or take part in country activities: horse and cart, terrier racing and gun dog displays. Refreshment and food available, including organic barbecue of home grown meat. Watch out for the lunchtime medieval battle re-enactment.

Join ESCC ranger Steve Diserens to explore the valley of the river Brede, returning by bus from Icklesham.

11am-1pm, meet at Brede Lock car park, Harbour Road, Rye
Join nature reserve manager Dr Barry Yates and local guide Jane Fraser Hay to explore Henry VIII’s castle, built over 500 years ago, and look at the special wildlife of the Nature Reserve.

1pm-3pm, meet at National Trust stand, Wickham Manor Farm
Join National Trust ranger David Lewis to explore the countryside around the town and farm. Some rough ground and steep slopes.

2pm-4pm, meet at Rye Harbour car park
Join the reserve warden, Chris Bentley, for a landrover tour of the reserve. £5 per person. Booking essential, maximum eight people, contact 01797 227784.

3pm-4.30pm, meet at Rye Harbour car park
Bring your bike to explore the reserve with some easy off road cycling, and several stops to watch our special wildlife (3 miles).
