Ragworting

July is a month for controlling Ragwort and at Rye Harbour we need help. The grassland has become organic, so we can only use physical methods and on the shingle ridges we cannot use machines. There is some funding to pay for the hand pulling of the Ragwort and this would suit people who are self-employed, physically fit and have an interest in wildlife.
